The objects are quietly mathematical. The forms of geometry are easily related to the human-made. The rectangle appears throughout the synthetic world. Yet in nature the rectangle is missing. Created by man; elevators, subways, and tunnels are enclosures of great discomfort. The sharp lines and planes of an elevator resemble those of a cube. An unnaturally round tunnel echoes a cylinder.
